Campus Buildings Currently Closed
Campus buildings are currently closed to almost all visitors. When the university reopens in the fall, visitors will be required to comply with the same social distancing and masking requirements as students, staff and faculty.
Cloth Masks are Mandatory Indoors
When campus reopens, all visitors must wear a cloth mask covering both the nose and mouth at all times when inside university buildings. Those who enter a campus building and refuse to wear a cloth mask will be asked to leave.
Cloth Masks Encouraged Outdoors
When campus reopens, cloth mask use is also encouraged outdoors, especially if social distancing isn’t possible.
When campus reopens, visitors should complete a symptom screening to participate in campus meetings or other activities. The university’s Protect Texas Together app will be available to campus visitors through the campus unit they are intending to visit.
No Guests in Residence Halls
No guests will be allowed in university-owned residence halls.
